It was the beginning of 2006 and I was out with a friend of mine KCØCNB doing some storm spotting. I had previously been to the training with him and now was getting some first-hand experience at what a spotter does and how he uses Ham (Amateur) Radio to communicate with the National Weather Service and other spotters. It was very exciting! All I had to do was pass the Technician exam and I'd be on the way to joining him and others on the air! Thirteen years later, I'm finally pursuing that goal! You can Join Me!
